    Salt Vs Sea Salt

Basically there are two types of salt, table salt and sea salt, although much of the salt that is mined is truly sea salt, deposits left from prehistoric times once tectonic plates collided and swallowed sea beds as fold mountains were born. The salt we typically have on our tables and use for cooking has been mined from rock deposits or from Halite, which is the sea salt type

Nowadays sea salt is harvested from the sea, notably from the Mediterranean, and Atlantic, by the French and Italians. This salt contains minerals including iodine, but table salt has been processed so that it only contains the minerals sodium and chloride. Much of it is then iodized; in other words the mineral iodine is added to it. Sea salt contains iodine naturally

Iodizing salt began in the US in the 1920s as an attempt to prevent people having goiters, an enlargement of the thyroid gland. This has become largely unnecessary as we now understand that we may find iodine from dark green vegetables such as spinach, or from algae such as laver bread (also known as the Welshman's. caviar). This processed salt has had all minerals removed from it and only contains sodium and chloride, which are the main constituents of all salt.

Sea salt is generally organic and has been harvested by hand, although so is the salt from Pakistan's. Khewra mines, the second largest salt mines in the world behind Wieliczka in Poland, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A trip to a salt mine is an enlightening knowledge as the one in Pakistan has buildings, such as a Post Office and a mosque built from bricks of salt. With the lighting effects, the sights to be seen underground are actually remarkable

In the Indian subcontinent Black salt (kala namak) is used with fruit such as jamun (Java plums) and falsa (Grewia asiatica), although it is also sometimes used in cooking too. It isn't. truly black, but a dirty pink colour but I can't. eat it as I am place off by the sulfurous smell

Another salt that comes from Pakistan is Himalayan Crystal salt, which may be found in varying shades of pink. This is one of the 'gourmet'. salts, sold for rather exorbitant prices in the rest of the world. It gets its colour from the minerals it contains and is told to have the lowest percentage of sodium and chloride of all salts

The Italian salt, Sale Marino harvested off the coasts of Sicily also contains the minerals magnesium, potassium and fluorine as well as iodine. French sea salt is also highly thought of and is grey, used on salads, and cooked fresh vegetables as well as grilled meats. Another French salt is Fleur de Sal (Flor de Sal in Portuguese) which comes from the Guérande region of France and is harvested from salt ponds. The weather conditions have to be just right to harvest this salt and it may only be harvested when a year

Flake salt or Flaky salt is a pretty condiment as it resembles snowflakes a little

The problem with these salts is that you should not truly add salt to food behind it has been cooked as salt may increase water retention and also may damage artery walls. However, gourmet salts will impress guests and are less unhealthy than processed table salt on the whole. It just depends if you want to spend money on salt, once you truly may find all the nutrients it contains from fresh fruit and vegetables.

    Organic Milk Vs Regular Milk

The debate rages around the organic milk above regular milk in the last period, and the radical changes in the world in the dairy industry, who drink the milk we different today is very different from what is, you drink once you were a child . Normally, the milk is "normal " these days are packed with all kinds of hormones and artificial ingredients that may be harmful. The only way to ensure that you may not be affected by these changes, the transition to organic farming, but of course if you consider that organic milk above regular milk almost 2x more expensive, it's. a real dilemma.

The Case For Organic Milk Vs Regular Milk

Essentially, milk classified as organic has to pass more stringent standards than milk classified as regular, which means that it won't. have all the additives like growth hormone, antibiotics and other potentially harmful chemicals. While generally the consensus is that it's. yet to be proven that these additional stuff will cause real harm to us, why risk your health above a few dollars and cents..? These days, cancer and other serious disorders and diseases are on the rise, and who is to say that that's. not partly down to all the changes that's. been happening in the food industry and how livestock and produce are raised..?

Honestly, you would be shocked and appalled if you knew what cows have to go through in the case of the latter of organic milk vs regular milk. In the case of the former, cows have free rein to graze and move around the pastures, whereas "regular" cows don't. Additionally, they are milked very frequently and are pumped with all kinds of chemicals to ensure they produce larger and larger quantities. Based on logic alone, you may know why there's. a growing concern around so called normal milk.

    So Which One to Choose..?

Well, if you may afford it, I would absolutely recommend making the switch to organic milk vs regular milk, considering all the health risks involved. Granted, they are not proven or documented, but obviously you don't. want to wake up one morning to get out some drastic headlines around organic milk vs regular milk and realize that it's. too late because you've. been drinking "regular" your whole life would you so it's. improved to be safe than sorry truly.

Are you being ripped off once you're. buying organic milk vs regular milk from your local producers..?

get out how to guarantee you are getting the best organic milk vs regular milk every single time.

    Cardiovascular Health for Yoga

once it comes to the heart for a healthy practice for most people, running, kickboxing and cycling imagine. While this certainly at the heart of good cardiovascular workout, new research suggests that activities such as yoga may benefit even more complex.

In the studies, as participants were able to set a default route and test to achieve. This try was conducted with the individual sitting on the floor, back against the wall. With legs straight, extended their arms and turn the participants at the waist, her arms stretch to the toes as possible. The results of this easy try in his hand, was the group to more serious things such as strength, muscle strength, blood pressure, respiration, heart rate, aortic pressure, heart rate and blood flow, measured as time is of the drive between some regions, like the neck and legs out travel .

The study found trunk flexibility to be a very good indicator of arterial stiffness in try subjects 40 years and older. Arterial stiffness is one of the key factors in the development of cardiovascular disease. The stiffness of the arteries was found to be independent of other factors such as endurance or muscle strength which were both previously considered good indicators of overall heart health

Stretching exercises such as yoga teach the arteries to be flexible in addition to the muscles, though scientists aren't. exactly sure how or why this happens. Another separate study showed that middle aged adults who began a daily stretching routine significantly better flexibility in the carotid artery in the neck, further strengthening the validity of this new finding.

Theoretically, the relationship between flexibility of the body and flexibility of the arteries could be found in the fact that both muscles and arteries gain the ability to be flexible from collagen and elastin. If stretching exercises send signals to the body to create collagen and elastin more readily available in response to the new needs of the body as a whole, perhaps the arteries also benefit from a more ready supply of both compounds, thus making them more flexible. This is only one of many theories, and it will undoubtedly take years for scientists to identify the exact underlying cause of this phenomenon. For now, it is good enough to understand that such benefits exist

Since arterial stiffness was found to be independent of other factors such as endurance and blood pressure, a strong heart can not necessarily be a healthy heart. It's. more than just the strength of the heart muscle itself; the arteries are of wonderful importance as well. The relationship between flexibility and arterial flexibility in the study was so strong that the doctors who conducted it recommended adding yoga to the recommendations for cardiovascular health.

Yoga can be added to any existing cardio exercise routine such as running, biking or cycling to bring flexibility to the arteries. In addition, yoga is extremely beneficial for the whole body all by itself with no other exercises needed. A longstanding belief within the medical community was that yoga in and of itself was not adequate to promote heart health, but this is clearly not the case. Yoga alone is great for the whole human body, bringing balance and health to the system as a whole

It is an indisputable fact that those who practice yoga throughout their lives enjoy greater levels of health than their peers. Now thanks to continuing scientific research, we may more readily identify why Yoga for cardiovascular health is a good idea.
